About Mina
Mina is an aerospace engineer who has contributed to six satellite missions across multiple stages of development. Her experience spans both public and private sectors, including the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and an astronomical research institute in France.
Her passion for space began early when she named Japan’s lunar orbiter “Kaguya” (SELENE) in 2007. She was recognized in Forbes JAPAN 30 Under 30 in 2022. To better understand space-like environments, she became a scuba diver at age 10 and later a certified PADI Divemaster. Having traveled to over 70 countries and lived abroad in several nations, she now sets her sights on exploring the next frontier: space.
