This will be the first TEDx event held in Awaji Island!

"According to The Chronicles of Japan, the legend narrates that a deity churned the sea below with a jeweled spear. Drops of salty water fell from the spear, creating the first Island of Japan known as Awaji Island."

We are pleased to announce the first TEDxAwaji 2021 event – Be a Ripple: “The influence of small choices”.

TEDxAwaji was founded by the residents of Awaji Island to give locals a voice and a platform to the world, and to bring new ideas to the community of Awaji Island. Our first event to be held in 2021, will trigger a wave of change to make a lasting positive impact on the local community of Awaji Island.

Standard Ticket includes: full admission to all sessions, performances, snacks, drinks, and attendee gift bag.

TEDxAwaji 2021 will begin at 11:30.

  • End 16:00

* The time table is tentative schedule at the preparation stage.
* Seating is based on order-of-arrival (non-reserved seats).
* We don’t accept cancellations of Standard Tickets.
Lunch will not be provided. Snacks and drinks will be served during the break time.

Some TEDxAwaji 2021 talks will be presented in English and some in Japanese. Subtitles will be provided to the audience.

There is a limited amount of Standard Tickets, so make sure to register early and secure your participation in TEDxAwaji 2021.
