Hosea Baker
About Hosea
Hosea Baker is an educator, researcher, and community builder with over 24 years of teaching experience and a deep commitment to suicide prevention in Japan. He teaches English at the Kyoto Institute of Technology and has delivered more than 30 invited lectures, in addition to appearing on NHK’s Baribara (Barrier-Free Variety Show).
He is also the author of books that support multi-heritage children in developing confidence, identity, and a sense of belonging. Across all his work, he creates learning environments where individuals are encouraged to think deeply, express themselves creatively, and recognize their own inner strengths.
